Drive-thru vaccination centres announced in UAE
The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) will launch drive-through services for people looking to take the jab soon.
The move is being undertaken as part of the UAE’s nationwide campaign to vaccinate at least half of the eligible population against Covid-19 by the end of March.
DoH will provide a number of centres, including drive through services, with Covid-19 vaccines outside of Abu Dhabi.
These will be operated by Abu Dhabi Healthcare Services (SEHA) and will increase the number of locations where Covid-19 vaccines are available nationally to 218.
As of January 19, more than 2 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered in the UAE, with the vaccine distribution rate at 20.88 per 100 persons.
