Kuwait reports 322 cases; 618 recoveries

Kuwait reported 322 new cases of coronavirus over the past 24 hours to up the total to 140,056.

Health Ministry’s Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said that three infected patients had passed away, raising the death toll to 866.

He said that the number of people hospitalized with the virus currently stands at 7,012, with 86 of them in intensive care units, adding that some 4,099 swab tests were conducted over the last day out of a total of 1,052,001  so far.

The ministry had earlier reported that some 618 more people had recovered from the virus over, raising the total of those to have overcome the disease to 132,178.
