Kuwait announced that it would lift precautionary measures restrictions next Sunday, Oct. 24.
The restrictions that were eased included canceling of the physical distancing between worshipers in mosques, in addition to allowing the holding and attending of events in wedding halls and other venues. The decision to lift the precautionary measures will only apply to those who have received two doses of the vaccine.
The government also will allow people not to wear facemasks in open areas, but must adhere to wearing them in closed areas, except in restaurants and cafes.
The country has also announced that it will re-issue entry visas to Kuwait for those who have received two doses.
