Oman imposes mandatory self-paid quarantine

The Supreme Committee has imposed a mandatory quarantine for those arriving into Oman, at their own expense. This is applicable to arrivals via land, sea and air.

Citizens stranded outside Oman and wishing to return via land borders have been given a grace period of ten days until February 21, within which they must enter Oman.

The pre-arrival COVID–19 test done within 72 hours and a negative certificate, as well as an on-arrival PCR test are a must for those flying into Oman. Another PCR test after seven days of quarantine is also to be done by the passengers to end the quarantine period.
