Qatar reports 216 new coronavirus cases

 Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) announced another 216 new confirmed coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of infections to 2, 728, Qatar News Agency reported.

Twenty more people have also recovered from the virus, taking the total number of patients recovered in Qatar to 247, the ministry revealed.

The new cases have been put into quarantine and are receiving the necessary medical care.

The MoPH called on citizens and residents under home quarantine to strictly adhere to quarantine procedures and stressed the importance of staying at home and physical distancing to curb the outbreak of coronavirus in Qatar.
