The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments announced the completion of the opening, restoration, and development of 32 mosques affiliated with the Sunni and Jaffari Endowments during Ramadhan in all governorates of Bahrain, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Moawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, commended HM King’s support in restoring the houses of worship, and the directives of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister in restoring mosques during the month of Ramadhan for the third consecutive year.
Dr. Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Futtais Al Hajeri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, commended the directives of HM King Hamad for building and maintaining mosques, supported by the government, led by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime minister, in meeting the needs of houses of worship in various governorates.
He emphasised the government’s role in launching the annual plan, which has accelerated the completion of mosque construction and renovation, particularly in new residential areas.
Yousef bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Jaffari Endowments Council, praised the efforts and ongoing support of HM King Hamad, and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for building, maintaining, and rehabilitating houses of worship.
Al Saleh expressed his appreciation to the relevant government and private entities for their contributions to the development plan of houses of worship.
