Dubai has announced firework displays across the emirate to celebrate Eid Al Fitr.

The UAE has revealed that Wednesday, April 10 will be the first day of Eid Al Fitr and there will be holidays for the public and private sector in the country.

As is often the case for special occasions, Dubai will also stage a number of firework displays over the course of the holiday.

Dubai Eid Fireworks 2024

There will be displays at these locations:

  • Dubai Festival City: A popular location for Creekside fireworks with a distant Burj Khalifa backdrop, Festival City will have a free display from 8pm on Wednesday, April 10
  • Dubai Parks and Resorts: The new Real Madrid World theme park is now officially open, but neighbouring Riverland has the brightest lights over the Eid holidays. On April 10 there will be dazzling fireworks display and every night until April 12 there will be three-times-a-night laser shows
  • Global Village: Along with the Burj Khalifa and the Burj Al Arab the popular attraction is one of the most consistently popular firework locations in Dubai. Visitors can enjoy daily musical fireworks displays at 9pm on April 10 to April 14
  • Hatta: For a mountain backdrop to accompany the night-time display head out of the city and into Hatta where there will be a firework show at 8pm on April 10
  • Bluewaters: Wait for the weekend and the beachfront neighbourhood in Dubai is the location for a dramatic firework display. On Friday April 12 at 8pm the night sky will be lit up for an Eid firework display in Dubai
  • Al Seef: The Eid Al Fitr fireworks will move around Dubai and on the second day of the holiday, Thursday, April 11, this heritage district will be lit up for a spectacular display
