Chilling Photos Expose the Grim, Dirt-Floored Basement Where a Polish Couple, Who Posed as Father and Daughter, Buried Three Newborn Babies
Harrowing images have emerged from inside a house of horror in Poland, revealing a dingy basement where Piotr Gierasik, allegedly threw his own daughter’s newborn babies to die. The shocking discovery was made after police conducted a visit to the property in the village of Czerniki, following a tip-off from social services.
The remains of three infants were found, leading to Piotr, 54, and Paulina Gierasik, 20, facing charges of murder and incest. If convicted, they could be sentenced to life in prison.
Upon further investigation, a horrifying discovery was made – the decaying bodies of three children, callously discarded into a dark pit.
Two infants were found wrapped in plastic bags and buried in a shallow grave beneath the house, while another child, believed to be one of Piotr’s daughters, was left to decompose without any form of burial.
Inspectors cautiously navigated a dank corridor, held together by deteriorating cement and crumbling brickwork, until they descended into the darkness to uncover this grim revelation.
Locals interviewed by local media revealed that the father and daughter were engaged in a romantic relationship for a period of four years, often seen walking hand-in-hand. Colleagues of Paulina, who works at a cake shop in the neighboring village of Stara Kiszewa, have disclosed that her father shaved her head to prevent other boys from showing interest in her. Furthermore, they mentioned that she idolized him, regarding him as a god-like figure.
The father and daughter, reported to have had a romantic relationship, were charged with multiple counts of murder and incest, according to reports.
Colleagues of Paulina grew suspicious of her pregnancy when she started wearing loose-fitting clothes and took a three-week leave of absence, only to return after one week.
One co-worker, speaking to the Super Express newspaper, revealed, “We all suspected she was pregnant, she had even wrapped belts around herself like a makeshift corset.”
When she returned early from her holiday, a notable transformation was evident. She appeared considerably slimmer, weaker, and persistently fatigued.
When inquired about the child, she acted surprised and vehemently denied any involvement.
A local informant informed Fakt newspaper: ‘They exhibited the behaviors of a couple. She addressed him by his first name, Piotr, and they strolled hand in hand.
‘A few months ago, he shaved her head in order to deter other men from showing interest in her.
‘She looked up to him as though he were a deity.’
Regarding the earlier arrests, Mariusz Duszyński from the District Prosecutor’s Office in Gdańsk commented: ‘The woman has been charged with two counts of murder, as well as the accusation of engaging in an incestuous relationship with her father.
“The man was charged with three counts of murder, an incest charge involving his daughter, age 20, and an incest charge involving his other daughter.”

Prosecutors claim that two of the murdered kids resulted from his relationship with the 20-year-old, who they claim had a consensual relationship with her father.
His relationship with another daughter, who he had forced into sex, produced the third child.
He may have killed the third baby, the prosecutors added.
The Polish Press Agency was informed by Grayna Wawryniuk of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Gdask that: “Our system’s data shows that proceedings have been held regarding abuse of other family members in recent years.
‘Even earlier, proceedings were conducted on suspicion of incest. All these proceedings were ended at the stage of the prosecutor’s office due to the lack of data sufficient to justify the suspicion of committing the offences.’
She said that the earlier evidence would now be reviewed by the prosecution. Police were tipped off by social services, which led to the terrible discoveries.Social services were reportedly notified when one of Paulina’s coworkers saw a ‘disturbing’ text the 20-year-old had written to her father.

Piotr moved to the village about 15 years ago and was left to raise his children alone after his wife passed away.
According to a family acquaintance, Piotr Gierasik, who relies on social assistance, used to hit his ex-wife. The acquaintance claimed that Hania, who passed away 15 years ago on September 18, was often assaulted by her husband despite being described as a ‘kind and caring’ mother.
The friend said: ‘She was a caring mother and a very good woman. But he was picking fights with her every day. The whole village could hear him shouting at her. Hania was regularly beaten up. He had sex with his daughters when Hania was alive, she was not able to defend them. She was never sick, but suddenly she lost weight, her hair fell out, she was hospitalised and never came out alive, her death was never explained, I don’t believe she just died like that, she was only 38 years old. Hania was very important to her daughters, the children regularly visit her at the cemetery.’
One local told the Super Express newspaper: ‘The father was left alone with the children. There are a lot of them, ten or twelve, the oldest ones have already left. Piotr made a good impression. The yard is neglected, but he installed new windows in the house. There was no sign of him drinking. He took the kids for walks or to the forest to pick mushrooms. Just ordinary people. Who would have thought that such abominations existed in their home.’
Fakt was informed by other locals that despite appearing calm, the man “had the devil under his skin.”It occurs at the same time that the little village of Czerniki, which has fewer than 180 residents and is 50 kilometers from Gdask, has been charged with engaging in a “conspiracy of silence” over the allegedly established relationship between the father and daughter. Locals claimed that they “always suspected” the family had a problem.
One neighbour said: ‘We often heard him shouting at the children. His verbal abuse was shocking. Sometimes we’d hear one of girls screaming. What people say now is that he used to go for walks with them. Maybe he did, but the whole village knew that something like this was happening. It’s a tiny village, so everyone knew about these things.’
‘Around ten years ago, the police were told that he was sleeping with one of his daughters. But after they investigated they couldn’t find any concrete evidence. The older daughter, who we suspected he had slept with was so scared she refused to say anything. He [the father] has such a personality that everyone in this village was afraid of him. That’s why this case didn’t appear for so long’.
A neighbour of the older daughter told Super Express: ‘She now lives in our village. She has a decent husband. As far as I remember, everyone said that she ran away from that father. If I were her husband, I would kill that monster. If someone hurt my wife like that, I would kill him too.’
According to unconfirmed reports, one of the bodies that was wrapped in a black plastic garbage bag was about three weeks old when it passed away.
Everyone was talking about it, according to Katarzyna Matyszczak, the manager of the candy store where Paulina worked.
‘His youngest daughter Paulina is a beautiful girl. Everyone said she was pregnant. So I asked about it directly.
‘She denied it. One of her friends didn’t believe it. I won’t say who, but she was the one who informed the relevant services about the whole matter, because she suspected that she had given birth to a child.’
To find out how the three babies passed away, prosecutors are now awaiting the results of an autopsy. Police are still searching the residence to discover if there are any additional bodies concealed within. The inquiry is ongoing, and the father and daughter are both now in detention.
