Out of 15,959 COVID-19 tests carried out on 8 March 2021, 653 new cases have been detected among 239 expatriate workers, 406 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 8 are travel-related. There were 718 recoveries, increasing total recoveries to 120,489.
There are currently 57 COVID-19 cases in a critical condition, and 112 cases receiving treatment. 6,236 are stable out of a total of 6,293 active cases.
