Omani bodybuilders came up with a solid display to scoop a total of 19 medals at the fourth West Asian Bodybuilding Championship, which concluded in the Bahraini capital of Manama on Sunday.
Omar Al Masoudi and Ali Al Maamari won two gold medals in different categories while the other gold medallists were Abdul Majeed Al Raisi, Imran Al Dhafri, Ghanem Al Maamari, and Sami Al Gharbi. The silver medallists for Oman were Omar Al Masoudi, Abdul Majeed Al Hadhrami, Malik Al Kasbi, Amer Al Balushi, Nabhan Al Zadjali, Mohsin Al Harthy, and Muhammad Al Ajmi while the bronze medals were won by Mazen Al Balushi and Nabhan Al Zadjali.
The championship was held at the Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Hall at the University of Bahrain (UoB) Sakhir Campus.
