Bahrain: 97 new coronavirus cases announced

Out of 18001 COVID-19 tests carried out on 22 August 2021, 97 new cases have been detected in Bahrain. Of these, 23 were expatriate workers, 56 were contacts of active cases, and 18 travel related.

There were 133 recoveries, increasing the total to 269260.

There are currently 6 cases in a critical condition, and 8 cases receiving treatment. 979 are stable out of a total of 985 active cases.
