Saudi: Limitations continue at Grand Mosque

Only pilgrims, performing the Umrah rituals, are allowed to perform circumambulation around the Holy Kaaba in the Grand Mosque, according to a Saudi newspaper.

“Recent reports that non-pilgrims are allowed to perform circumambulation in the Grand Mosque are untrue,” Okaz said, quoted what it termed as well-informed sources.

Social media reports have recently claimed that Saudi authorities decided to re-open the circumambulation area around the Kaaba for non-pilgrim worshippers starting Saturday.
