Saudi Arabia reports 234 new COVID-19 cases, 6 deaths

Saudi Arabia on Saturday recorded 234 new COVID-19 cases and six new deaths due to virus-related complications, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health.

This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 543,796 and the virus-related fatalities to 8,526.

A total of 409 people recovered, raising the total recoveries to 531,733.

Riyadh reported the highest number of new cases with 67, followed by Makkah with 56, Jazan with 22, and Qassim with 22.

There are 3,537 active cases, 978 of which are in critical condition.
