“Noor Riyadh” festival lights up Saudi from March 18 to April 3

The 17-day annual “Noor Riyadh” light festival, organized by the Riyadh Art Program, will run from March 18-April 3.

The festival will feature workshops, discussions, tours, presentations, volunteer programs, cinematic and musical events, and recreational and educational activities.

Lighting artists from more than 20 countries will take part in the festival.

The Saudi artists taking part are Ahmed Mater, Lulwah Al-Homoud, Ayman Zidani, Rashed Al-Shashai and Maha Mallouh.

Prominent international artists include Daniel Buren, Carsten Holler, Ilya and Emilia Kabakov, Yayoi Kusama and Dan Flavin.
