UAE: Abu Dhabi Announces New Food Delivery Rules
The Abu Dhabi Police has announced eight requirements drivers need to adhere to while for their safety, while delivering food to customers.
The Directorate of Traffic and Patrols stated that these requirements come as a continuation of its efforts to familiarise drivers of delivery bikes with traffic safety rules, avoid traffic accidents, their causes, effects and losses resulting from them, and enhance safety for this category of road users.
She also emphasised the continuation of her efforts to educate this group about the basics of traffic safety, and to introduce traffic regulations and laws that must be followed on the road, safety requirements for driving a motorcycle, and avoiding traffic accidents.
