Naif Police Station arrested a gang involved in a Dhs1.7 million robbery, Brig. Dr. Tariq Tahlak, director of the station, revealed.
The robbery took place at a general trading company and the suspect did not leave any break-in traces.
Investigation revealed that the thief was an expat employee who had been dismissed. He sought the help of 10 people of different nationalities by persuading them with the large amounts of money that could be stolen if they entered the company through him.
The suspects were arrested and a large sum of the stolen money was returned to the company.
