UAE reports 1,992 new coronavirus cases and 7 deaths
The Ministry of Health and Prevention reported 1,898 COVID-19 after conducting 205,579 additional tests over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 428,295.
The ministry said that 7 virus-infected patients had passed away, raising the overall death toll to 1,402 since the outbreak of the pandemic in the UAE.
It noted that 2,438 infected people had fully recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 408,085.
