Bahrain: Benefit Rejects False Claim on Social Media
The Benefit Company refuted claims circulating on social media regarding the alleged breach of the “Benefit B” application. In an official statement on their Instagram account, the company emphasized that these claims are entirely false, as the application adheres to rigorous security and safety standards, including thorough verification of user identities.
Furthermore, the company reiterated its warning regarding fraudulent calls. Benefit said they will never reach out to users to request secret codes or send text messages containing links.
The statement advised the public to exercise caution and urged them not to propagate unverified news and rumours. They emphasized the importance of verifying the authenticity of information before sharing it with others.
