Kuwait: Banks to operate until 2 pm

Kuwait will be under a curfew from Sunday onwards for one month, Kuwait Banks Association issued a circular stating that the local banks working hours is until 2 o’clock in the afternoon, reports Al Anba. Banks that are located in industrial and commercial areas of Kuwait, will not operate during evening hours.

The source stated that banks will abide by the Cabinet’s decision to limit the number of employees in the workplace to 50% of the total number of employees within each department in the building.
