Bahrain: Anti-Narcotics Department Arrests 31-Year-Old With BD20,000 Worth Drugs

The Anti-Narcotics Department of the General Department of Investigation and Criminal Evidence announced the arrest of a 31-year-old individual found in possession of drugs valued at BD20,000.

The arrest was made by the police following an investigation triggered by a tip-off regarding drug sales within the Kingdom. Acting swiftly on the information, the police were able to locate and identify the suspect without delay.

Officials confirmed that the seized drugs have an estimated market value of approximately BD20,000. The General Department of Investigation and Criminal Evidence stated that necessary legal procedures have been initiated in preparation for transferring the case to the Public Prosecution for further action.
