Bahrain: MOH defers periodic medical examination, suspends consultation fee
The Health Minister announced postponing the periodic medical examination of workers in industrial and commercial establishments to 1 August 2021. Health Minister Faiqa bint Saeed Al Saleh said the decision is as per Resolution No. (71) for 2021 and Resolution No. (15) for the year 2020.
The ministry also announced suspending the fee collection for general medical consultation for non-Bahrainis until 31 August 2021
The fee for examining patients who are residents but not employed by the government and their families, who are not participating in the health care system is seven dinars for general medical advice.
