BTEA Announces ‘Celebrate Bahrain’ Events
The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) has announced the final list of events and activities, themed “Celebrate Bahrain,” to be held in cooperation with partners, marking the kingdom’s national day.
The line-up of activities features a wide range of family, musical, cultural, and sporting events that will be held in various governorates throughout the month of December.
It also includes various packages of promotional offers represented by travel and accommodation in the most prominent hotels in the Kingdom, which citizens, residents, visitors, and tourists alike can enjoy.
Regarding family events, BTEA said that they include the “Festival City,” which is a family carnival that offers a wide array of entertainment games, restaurants, and live performances.
They also include the second edition of the Heritage Village Festival, which is organised by the Ministry of Information, the “Autumn Fair,” the annual shopping exhibition held at the Exhibition World Bahrain, and the Bahrain Shopping Festival, in addition to New Year’s Eve celebrations that will be held in various venues, including Marassi Al Bahrain, Bahrain Bay, Water Garden City, Bahrain Financial Harbour, Bahrain Fort, Bahrain National Museum, and Al Najma Club. New Year celebrations will feature fireworks displays.
The Bahrain Festive Season also features musical and cultural events, including concerts to be hosted by the Al Dana Amphitheatre marking the National Day and New Year Eve, in addition to the Bahrain Philharmonic Orchestra, to be held by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) at the National Theatre.
Regarding sports events, BTEA announced that they will include the Ironman 70.3 Middle East Championship, the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals, horseracing competitions, and the Brave Championship Series.
BTEA indicated that the public will be treated to a group of exclusive offers on flights on the occasion of the festive season, including a 16% discount on flight offers presented by Gulf Air for visitors coming to Bahrain in December.
There will also be discounts by malls and restaurants in stores in Moda Mall, City Centre Bahrain, Seef Mall, and The Avenues, as well as draws for valuable prizes and offers in restaurants in these malls, BTEA said.
There will also be comprehensive packages for tourists that include accommodation, entertainment and transportation, as well as hotel accommodation offers in various hotels, which include staying for two nights and getting one night for free, free accommodation for children when staying for three nights or more, and providing breakfast when staying for two days or more, in addition to free hotel services,
The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority will also offer special packages for tourists to engage in specialised tourism experiences within the events that will be held in a number of fields, such as exploring the musical and cultural diversity in Bahrain, golf experiences, attending New Year’s celebrations, coral events, and sporting events, with each package including different offers and benefits.
BTEA indicated that it will launch intensified campaigns to promote the festive events and attract as many tourists and visitors as possible.
