Bahrain reports 656 new COVID-19 cases, 129 recoveries

Out of 22159 COVID-19 tests carried out on 31 December 2021, 656 new cases have been detected among 198 expatriate workers, 347 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 111 are travel-related. There were 129 recoveries from COVID-19, increasing total recoveries to 277,345.

There is currently 1 COVID-19 case in a critical condition, and 2 cases receiving treatment. 3.322 are stable out of a total of 3.323 active cases,
