Bahrain: Worker’s Day 2020 Postponed

In view of the current circumstances concerning public health, the Workers’ Day 2020 -Winter Fest event, which is scheduled to take place on Friday, 28 February has been postponed, announced Indian Community Relief Fund (ICRF).

ICRF was preparing to host the third edition of ICRF Workers’ Day which intended to create an atmosphere of celebrations and enjoyment for low-income workers, in turn improving their morale and create awareness on support systems available by the community for them.

Meanwhile, the Chief Executive of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) Osamah bin Abdullah Al Absi, held an emergency meeting to discuss the procedures carried out by the authority to prevent the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19) today.
