Bahraini Maestro Waheed Al Khan has presented his exceptional concert titled “Return to Life” at the Bahrain National Theatre.

The event featured the participation of the Saint Petersburg Classical Orchestra and the Bahraini Liquid Band, with contributions from the Bahrain Music Ensemble and technical support from the Ministry of Interior police band and the Bahrain Institute of Music.

The grand ceremony attracted a large audience eager to indulge in distinctive cultural experiences as part of the 18th Spring of Culture Festival.

Maestro Al Khan took the audience on a captivating musical journey, showcasing a selection of his notable compositions that have left a lasting impact on both the local and international scenes. Featured pieces included “Shakshaka,” “The Return,” “The Return to Life,” “Saada,” “Asrar,” “Darbak Khidr,” “Shadows,” and many others.

A composer born in Muharraq, Maestro Al Khan holds a master’s degree in folk music from the Cairo Conservatory. He is renowned for composing musical plays, arranging orchestral music for operettas, and founding the Classical Institute of Music, the first accredited music institute in Bahrain. Maestro Al Khan has received numerous local and international awards for his outstanding contributions to the world of music.
