Weather warnings issued for several regions in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia’s civil defense on Friday issued weather warnings in parts of the Kingdom lasting until Saturday.

The civil defense warned of thunderstorms in different regions, including Makkah, Madinah, the Northern Borders Province, Hail, Jawf, the Eastern Province and Qassim.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense said the warning was issued according to data reported by the General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection.

The civil defense called on everyone to be wary of the potential dangers of these weather conditions, to stay away from the places where torrents gather and to adhere to the civil defense instructions announced through various media outlets and on social media, in order to preserve safety.
