Coronavirus: Oman’s Youngest Patient Recovers
A one-and-a-half-year-old boy in Oman has recovered after contracting coronavirus.
It was the youngest confirmed case in the Sultanate, which has registered 371 instances of coronavirus, including two deaths.
The Ministry of Health has confirmed that the boy, who had contracted the deadly COVID-19 virus from one of his infected parents, had been treated in the pediatric department Royal Hospital, Muscat.
The child was admitted to the hospital, suffering from shortness of breath and a slight cough, and was put under observation for two days to perform necessary examinations, x-rays and receive medical attention.
