India has confirmed 17,407 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of cases to 11,156,923, the country’s Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Thursday.
An additional 89 new fatalities rises the Covid-19 death toll to 157,435. More than 10.82 million people have recovered in India since the start of the outbreak.
