Kuwait: 190,000 expats must renew visas if they want to stay

Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior announced it will not extend the grace period after November 30. Therefore, the 190,000 expats who have not renewed their visas will need to do so before the deadline in order to stay in the country, Al Rai reported.

Those who do not amend their residency permits, including visit visas, before the end of the month will face legal consequences, the Ministry added.

The company or the sponsor will also be charged a fine.

Around 405,000 expats renewed their residency permits during the grace period and thus are permitted to stay in the country.
