Oman: Temperature reaches 43 degrees in some places

The highest temperature recorded across all weather stations on Tuesday was at Joba (Mahout) station, nearly 43 degrees Celsius.

A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said: “Joba (Mahout) recorded 42.8 degrees Celsius as the highest temperature among the weather stations yesterday. Saiq station recorded 16.5 degrees as the lowest temperature.”
