The Philippine Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Wednesday said it has approved the emergency use of Hayat-Vax, the COVID-19 manufactured in UAE.
Hayat-Vax is identical to China’s Sinopharm vaccine and will be administered to people aged 18 and above, FDA chief Rolando Enrique Domingo told Reuters.
