Saudi Arabia confirms 209 cases; 12 deaths

The Ministry of Health reported 209 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number to 358,922, including 3,777 active cases undergoing treatment.

“Of these, there are 577 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable”, said the ministry, adding that 12 infected patients had passed away, putting the tally of fatalities, at 5,977.

Meanwhile, as many as 289 cases have recovered, raising recoveries’ toll to 349,168.

On the other hand, 40,371 new laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
