The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, reported 1,148 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases after conducting 87,635 tests over the last 24 hours, raising the total caseload to 177,577.
In a statement carried by the UAE News Agency (WAM), the ministry said that two infected patients had passed away, raising the death toll to 594.
It also announced that an additional 579 infected patients had recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 159,711.
