Saudi to host first race in Extreme E’s Desert X Prix series

Al Ula is preparing for the first race of the Global Series Extreme E on 3-4 April, co-organized by the Ministry of Sports and Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF).

Ten teams from different countries will participate in the race. The Al Ula race is the first of five races in the Desert X Prix series, followed by Senegal in May, Greenland in August, Brazil in October and Argentina in December.

Extreme E is a new racing series in which electric SUVs compete in climate-affected destinations around the world with the aim of encouraging reliance on electric vehicles in pursuit of a better future for the planet.
