Saudi: Nearly 22 million people fully vaccinated against COVID-19

21.7 million people in the Kingdom have been double-jabbed against the coronavirus. Over 46.2 million doses of a COVID-19 vaccine had been administered in the Kingdom so far.

Meanwhile, the Kingdom announced one death from COVID-19 and 40 new infections on Sunday. A total of 8,804 people have succumbed to the virus in the Kingdom so far.

Of the new cases, 13 were recorded in Riyadh, seven in Jeddah, four in Madinah, and three in Makkah. Several other cities recorded one new case each. The total number of recoveries in the Kingdom increased to 537,858 after 64 more patients recovered from the virus.
