Kuwait reports 442 COVID-19 cases

Kuwait has today confirmed 442 new COVID-19 infections over the past 24 hours, raising the total to 159,264 cases.
The Ministry said that one infected patient had passed away, raising the death toll since the outbreak of the pandemic to 951.
The number of people hospitalized with the virus currently stands at 5,893, with 54 of them in intensive care units, according to ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad.
The health authorities conducted 10,283 swab tests were conducted over the 24 hours out of a total of 1,425,480.
The ministry said that 484 infected patients had recovered from the virus, raising the overall tally to 152,420.
