Oman to participate in World Intellectual Property Day celebrations

Oman will participate in the World Intellectual Property Day (IP) on 26th April with the slogan ‘IP and SME: Taking your Ideas to Market’, according to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion.

Ali bin Hamad bin Saif Al Maamari, Director of the Intellectual Property Department at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, said:  “Oman’s national innovation strategy relies on the intellectual property axis as a basic pillar to develop a national strategy for intellectual property, which can empower the Sultanate to be ranked  among the top 20 countries in the Global Innovation Index.”
