“The Court of Appeal in Salalah issued a judicial ruling convicting four citizens of one year in prison and a fine of OMR 1,000 for each of them, on charges of hunting a number of Arabian gazelle, Nubian ibex, and a number of wild birds. It also ordered the confiscation of the seized items, weapons, binoculars, phones, and the vehicle,” Environment Authority (EA), said in a statement.

The Environment Authority calls on everyone to preserve the elements of the natural environment and not to be exposed to them, so as not to be subject to legal accountability.
