‘Used Car Exhibition’ in Bahrain?

“The ministry could contribute to setting up a used car exhibition for one day every week,” said the Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, Eng Esam Khalaf, in response to a proposal submitted by the Southern Governorate’s Municipal Council to establish a used car exhibition in the yard of the popular market in Isa Town.

He added that in case of approval, there will be a nominal fee on the offered vehicle in the exhibition.

The minister said that the proposed square by the municipality can accommodate 109 cars and that if the proposal is approved, the ministry will coordinate with the General Directorate of Traffic, the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Works and Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning to monitor and control organizational matters.

Khalaf indicated that the initiative was a new experience, and if succeeded, it could be studied in order to develop for the better. He added that the executive body in the ministry was directed to coordinate with the council on this project.
