COVID-19: Oman records 249 new cases, 6 deaths

The Ministry of Health has registered 249 new coronavirus cases in Oman on Wednesday.

The total cases in the country has now touched 82,299, including 77,072 recoveries and 539 deaths, according to MOH.

The ministry urged everyone to adhere to social distancing instructions issued by the Supreme Committee and the MOH, as well as staying at home and not going out unless necessary.

There have been six new deaths caused by the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday.

According to the Ministry’s figures, the total fatalities due to COVID-19 has now reached 539 in the Sultanate.
