Saudi Arabia: Riyadh Season to Host First Ever ‘Dog Festival’ International Competition

For the first time in Saudi Arabia’s capital city, Riyadh Season will host the ‘Dog Festival’ with more than 250 dogs competing in various categories.

From November 1 to December 30, the championship will see competitions for pups that include a beauty contest and competitions in the categories of Saluki Race, IGP, Agility, and Dog Show.

The show will take place at the 200,000 square-meter Boulevard Hall.

The 2023 Riyadh Season, held under the theme “Big Time,” features numerous new and exciting experiences, including the introduction of Barbie World and the Disney Castle for the first time in the Middle East.

This year’s event has created more than 200,000 job opportunities and seen the involvement of 2,000 companies.

The number of visitors at the festival has reached 2 million within the first two weeks of its launch, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). It is expected to attract more visitors from around the Kingdom and across the world in the coming months, SPA said.

Riyadh Season first launched in 2019 and has since welcomed visitors from all over the world to experience thousands of concerts, sporting events, dining experiences and other unique cultural events.

For its fourth edition, the festival features 12 zones, that include concerts, entertainment activities, fine dining experiences, and so much more.
