Kuwait confirms 635 COVID-19 cases and no deaths

Kuwait has today confirmed 635 new COVID-19 infections over the past 24 hours, raising the total  165257 cases. 

The Ministry said that no virus infected patient had passed away, maintaining the death toll since the outbreak of the pandemic at 959 so far. 

The number of people hospitalized with the virus currently stands at 6367, with 58 of them in intensive care units, according to ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad. 

The ministry said that 527 infected patients had recovered from the virus, raising the overall tally to 157931. 

The health authorities conducted 8994 swab tests, bringing the overall number to 1529581, said KUNA.
