Kuwait exempts vaccinated people from institutional quarantine

Kuwait’s Ministry of Health approved Pfizer Bionic, AstraZeneca Oxford, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines for coronavirus passports. The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Mustafa Reda, notified the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

The following people will be exempted from institutional quarantine:

  1. Those who have received a single dose of one of the approved vaccines in Kuwait, and more than five weeks have passed.
  2. Those who have received two doses of one of the approved vaccines in Kuwait, and more than two weeks have passed since the second dose.
  3. Those who recovered from infection with the Coronavirus and received one dose of one of the vaccines approved in Kuwait, and more than two weeks have passed.

The Undersecretary added that exemptions and facilities will be granted to recipients of vaccines approved by  Kuwait, whether the vaccination is in the country or abroad.
