COVID-19: Bahrain records highest number of active cases yesterday

Active cases peak at 6,183 once again registering the highest number of active cases since the beginning of the pandemic surpassing yesterday’s figure.
Out of 9,977 COVID-19 tests carried out yesterday, 747 new cases have been detected among which 109 are expatriate workers, 633 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 5 are travel related. There were 416 recoveries, increasing the total to 53,192.
There are currently 26 COVID-19 cases in a critical condition, and 86 cases receiving treatment. 6,157 cases are stable out of a total of 6,183 active cases.
The Ministry of Health also announced the death of 3 people, a 66 year old male, 72 year old female citizens and a 56 year old male expat.
