Kuwait: 120,000 residency violators still in the country

Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior has said that there are 120,000 violators of the residence law in the country who did not take advantage of the amnesty period given by the government to leave the country without paying fines, Al Seyassah Newspaper reported.

The daily added the Interior Ministry is in the process of putting in place a plan to arrest the violators and deport them after making them pay the fines for staying illegally in the country, which is a maximum of KD 600 per person.
