Oman experiences significant drop in temperature

There is a significant drop in temperatures in most governorates of the Sultanate, Oman Meteorology said on Friday.

A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said: “Chances of northeasterly moderate to fresh winds along most of the coastal areas from tomorrow evening till Monday leading to rough sea condition (2.5 – 3.0) meters with a noticeable reduction in temperature over most of the Sultanate.”

“The sea will see medium waves during the evening on the coastal areas of the Sea of Oman and Musandam Governorate, and its maximum height will reach two metres,” the statement added.
