UAE: Covid-19 vaccine exemption for 7 categories
The Department of Health in coordination with the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee announced the list of categories approved for exemption from the Covid-19 vaccination.
The exemptions apply to pregnant women, recipients of Covid-19 vaccine outside of the UAE, active Covid-19 patients, participants in vaccine clinical trials, former Covid-19 patients following medical evaluation, those who previously had severe allergies to vaccines or components of vaccines, and those who have diseases that may be incompatible with the vaccine.
To receive an official exemption, the applicant must visit an authorised medical centre in Abu Dhabi for medical evaluation. An approval will be reflected on the Alhosn app.
